Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili says the provincial government is taking measures on war footings to prevent the spread of epidemic diseases including malaria, in the flood-hit areas of the province.

Chairing a high-level meeting in Quetta on Tuesday, he directed the Health and Local Government Departments to ensure provision of vaccines, medicines and anti-malarial spray in the affected districts to prevent epidemics and other diseases.
