Posters appear in IIOJ&K with greeting messages on Pakistan Day

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas with greeting messages ahead of the Pakistan Day to be celebrated on Wednesday.

The posters pasted by Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Azadi, Jammu Kashmir, Kashmir Resistance Movement, Kashmir Hurriyat Youth Forum and Jammu Kashmir Justice League with pictures of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt greeted the Pakistanis on their national day.

The posters were bearing message: “One Nation, One Slogan, One Goal". The posters read India has turned Kashmir into a military garrison. Kashmiris want freedom from Indian illegal occupation and will never compromised on their just cause of right to self-determination. They also read 'it is the time to get united and raise voice against the Indian occupation'.

The hope was expressed that the people of the country would continue to work for a strong and stable Pakistan as stable Pakistan is the guarantee to peace in the region.

Meanwhile, a massive protest rally was taken out in Akhnoor area of Jammu by elected members of Panchayati Raj Institutions and leaders of social and political organizations against the draft report of Delimitation Commission.

As per the draft report, Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura tehsils will be the part of Khour Assembly constituency.

Around three hundred people from both tehsils led by their 18 Sarpanchs and more than 100 Panchs gathered near the new bridge Akhnoor where they blocked the Jammu-Poonch highway and disrupted the vehicular traffic for around two hours. The people were shouting slogans against the Delimitation Commission.
