In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, 31st anniversary of Bijbehara martyrs was observed on Tuesday.   

Over fifty innocent Kashmiris were martyred in Bijbehara area of Islamabad district on this day in, 1993, when personnel of Indian Border Security Force opened fire on peaceful demonstrators, who were protesting against Indian military siege of Srinagar’s Hazratbal shrine.                             

Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference, paying rich tributes to martyrs of Bijbehara massacre called for an impartial investigation into Bijbehara massacre and similar atrocities committed by Indian forces in the held valley.

On the other hand, Indian forces launched widespread raids and search operations across occupied Jammu and Kashmir, leading to arrests of many innocent Kashmiri youth.       

According to Kashmir Media Service, the raids were conducted by the Indian Army, Counter-Intelligence Unit, and National Investigation Agency in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Islamabad, Budgam and Kulgam districts.
