IIOJK: Indian troops launch massive search operation in Samba

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Occupation troops have launched massive cordon and search operations in various areas ahead of Indian's general elections in the territory.

Indian army’s troops and Special Operation Group of police conducted massive search operations in Khirdi, Sarna, Nud and other areas of Samba district.

Search and frisking operations have also been intensified in different areas of Srinagar, Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara, Pulwama, Shopian, Islamabad, Kulgam, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban and Doda districts.

The people mostly youth are being summoned to police stations where they are subjected to severe harassment.

On the other hand, All Parties Hurriyet Conference spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar said that the Kashmiris have been enduring unrelenting repression and political injustice for the past 76 years.

He said that the ongoing atrocities have failed to subdue the Kashmiris who are determined to carry on their struggle for freedom of their motherland from Indian clutches.

The spokesman urged the international community to take notice of massive human rights violations in IIOJK and pressurize India to resolve the lingering dispute in line with UNSC resolutions.

Meanwhile, posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas with greeting messages for the people and Government of Pakistan ahead of the Pakistan Day to be celebrated on Saturday.

The posters displayed by APHC and other Hurriyat organizations are inscribed with slogans like ‘Hum Pakistani Hain, Pakistan Hamara Hai’, ‘Kashmir is jugular vein of Pakistan’, ‘Jammu and Kashmir is part of Pakistan’ and ‘Go India Go Back’.

The posters with the Pakistan flag were also bearing pictures of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Khan and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir.
