Amb. A M Shahid (Former Diplomat):Pakistan and China strategic and economic partnership has been growing stronger and stronger over seven decades. Chinese companies are willing to invest in Pakistan and Pakistan has facilitated Chinese companies to boost trade and investment in Pakistan. China is also providing technological transfer facility to Pakistan. Relationship with China is multi- dimensional and both countries are continuing to enhance bilateral partnership. China is also our strategic partner and further cementing cooperation in defence, mining and other sectors. It is also matter of satisfaction that besides China, Pakistan also maintains good and cordial diplomatic and economic ties with other countries of the world like Canada and European Union. It is obvious from yesterday’s visit of Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand to Pakistan.
