In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces have unleashed a reign of terror and harassment ahead of India’s so-called Republic Day celebrations.

According to Kashmir Media Service, for the past many days, a curfew-like situation prevails in the occupied territory amid heavy deployments of Indian troops and police personnel to prevent anti-India rallies.

Posters have once again appeared in the valley appealing people to strongly respond to the APHC call for observance of the Indian Republic Day as Black Day.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman categorically rejected any election process, staged by Modi regime, as a substitute to the internationally recognised right to self-determination.

The APHC urged the human rights organizations to initiate a criminal proceeding against India for killing Kashmiri youth in fake encounters.

The Washington Post has termed the Indian government’s act of banning Kashmir Press Club as an attempt to wipe out any trace of independent press in the territory.

The newspaper said that Indian forces are staging fake gunfights, using civilians as human shields, to cover up extrajudicial killings.
