Another step towards Hinduization of IIOJK, 3 more seats to be reserved for Hindus
July 24, 2023

In another step towards demographic change in of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Modi-led Indian government is planning to amend the so-called Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 to reserve three more seats for Kashmiri Hindu migrants in the territory’s Legislative Assembly.

According to Kashmir Media Service, two seats will be reserved for those Pandits who migrated from the valley and one for those who left Azad Jammu and Kashmir at the time of partition and settled in different parts of the occupied territory.

The Modi regime has already given 6 additional seats to Hindu dominated Jammu region against only one to the Kashmir valley.

Meanwhile, Indian troops in their unabated state terrorism martyred 10 Kashmiris and arrested over hundred including Hurriyat activists in the past two weeks in different areas of the territory.

The APHC-AJK chapter at a meeting chaired by its Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar in Islamabad, today, strongly condemned the harassment of Hurriyat leaders, human rights activists and journalists during house raids and crackdowns by personnel of Indian army.

After Babri Masjid, Hindu fanatics have marked another centuries-old Gyanvapi mosque, for possible demolition on the lame excuse that it was built on the site of a temple. The mosque was constructed by the Mughal Empire in Varanasi in 1669.
