Amb. A M Shahid (Former Diplomat):Pakistan and Singapore are celebrating Golden Jubilee of cordial and friendly relations. Both countries have good bilateral cooperation in trade and economy. Pakistan has very active diaspora in Singapore which is playing key role in development of Singapore. Our people are very active in Singapore’s police and other organizations. In his message on this occasion Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to strengthening the bilateral partnership with Singapore in multiple spheres. Singapore is a developing rich economy, so Pakistan needs to higher standards of Pakistani products to meet Singaporean standards. We can export our furniture and other products to Singapore.  We can attract investment from Singapore to Pakistan. There is huge potential of increasing trade tune and investment from Singapore. Singaporeans have technical know-how so we may benefit by raising our standards of products and policies. Pakistani diaspora is also technically very professional and have won several medals as ignition of their services.
