The Sehat Sahulat Programme of the Federal Government to provide relief to the people is the major step towards making Pakistan a welfare state.

This was stated by Member of National Assembly Dr. Seemi Bukhari in an exclusive interview with News and Current Channel of Radio Pakistan.

She said universal health coverage in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will provide a major relief to people for treatment of chronic diseases in state of the art hospitals in all cities.

She said the incumbent government is working on a long term strategy to cope with challenges being faced by the country and people including climate change, water shortage, industrial growth, economic stability and exports growth.
