Prof Dr Aqeela Asif (IR Expert): Resumption of direct flights between Pakistan and Bangladesh is a positive development and it will cast far reaching impacts on regional development. Both Pakistan and Bangladesh share common values and can boost bilateral cooperation in diverse sectors and fields. Eradication of poverty is a common issue for both the countries so by increasing bilateral trade and business activities, both the countries can also resolve this issue appropriately. So I think that both countries can ideally cooperate in different sectors including textile industry, agriculture, dairy and others products. Pakistan can export its products to Bangladesh from these sectors. In a bid to promote bilateral trade and commerce related activities, both the countries are required to activate our business community to achieve economic development.
