Peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in the best interest of the region in particular and Pakistan in particular. International community is appreciating Pakistan's role in Afghan situation, including successful evacuation operations. Pakistan always stood with Afghanistan in every hour of need. Pakistan is willing to work with new Afghanistan government for sake of peace in war-torn country. Afghanistan is facing humanitarian crisis and we must Afghanistan’s government to resolve this crisis.

This particular visit has several objectives, including Clean Green Initiative and strengthening of bilateral relations. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi leadership have discussed bilateral relations, and regional and international matters. Islamabad and Riyadh enjoy cordial bilateral relations in diverse fields, and the two countries always stood with each other in every hour of need. During this visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan will share Pakistan’s perspective on various regional, security and economic issues with the Saudi leadership.

Pakistan has opportunities in Foreign Direct investment in the form of free economic zones, Gwadar port and others under the CPEC. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Saudi Arabia will also help attract investment from Saudi businessmen. There is need for convergence of views between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on regional and international issues especially the Afghan situation.
