Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman says removal of Income Tax Adaptation Act 2012 is against the interest of Gilgit Baltistan.
He was talking to a joint delegation of GB Action Committee and Injumin-e- Tajaran in Gilgit.
He said government has given special concessions to the local contractors and also deducting fifty percent tax from employees as compared to other provinces.
He said companies are coming for investment in Gilgit Baltistan under CPEC and they must pay taxes to the government.
He assured the delegation that common man and small businessmen will not be affected from taxes.
