Now, all the economic indicators are showing a positive trajectory. The Ehsaas Program is a flagship program of the incumbent government. The government has initiated many loan programs to promote entrepreneurship. Remittances have increased due to the government's impressive policies. People outside Pakistan are more willing to invest in Pakistan. Peace in Afghanistan would bring a lot of opportunities for Pakistan. The PTI government is committed to make Pakistan an economically independent state. Pakistan has sufficient natural resources to stabilize its economy. Pakistan has a huge youth bulk which is a potential manpower. Tourism industry has great potential for growth. The incumbent government is making concrete steps to make Pakistan a progressive and developed state.
Zartaj Gul (Minister of State for Climate Change): The three years of the government were very tough and we really worked very hard to bring Pakistan out of bankruptcy. We must appreciate that the government shares its achievements with the public every year. The Prime Minister Imran Khan is an elected prime minister and he includes the people of Pakistan in his policy making process. PM Imran Khan is committed to connect with people on every issue. The Overseas Pakistanis have shown great confidence and trust in Imran Khan. The incumbent government has initiated many poor friendly programs for the neglected and marginalized segments of the society. The Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme has improved the image of Pakistan on the international front. Pakistan is leading the world in climate change issues. PM Imran Khan has emerged as a strong ambassador of Kashmiri people. It is appreciable that Pakistan has come out of a critical situation and is now moving towards the right direction as far as economy and foreign policy are concerned. The incumbent government has taken concrete steps to eliminate corruption. It is appreciable that the Pakistani people, government and security forces are on the same page. Pakistan has played a significant role in resolving the Afghan dispute. PM Imran Khan has effectively highlighted the Kashmir issue in the international arena.
Jamshed Iqbal Cheema (Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Food Security): We have seen a major progress in water conservation during the PTI tenure. We have invested a huge amount on the improvement of irrigation systems. We have taken concrete steps for the construction of dams. The breed improvement in plants and animals is also underway. The incumbent government is seriously focusing on the food processing industry. The PTI-led government has subsidized 81 agricultural inputs. The incumbent government has increased the budget for agriculture. The PTI-led government has achieved some major milestones in the agriculture and food sectors. Welfare of the farming community is the top most priority of the government. The confidence of farmers has increased during the reign of current government. A separate cell has been established to address the issues of farmers. The incumbent government has ensured that the farmers get reasonable rates for their crops. It is appreciable that PM Imran Khan is concerned about the problems of the common man.
