Dr. Qibla Ayaz (Religious Scholar): Both the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressed the issue of Islamophobia during their UN speeches and meetings to sensitize the world about feelings of Muslims on this topic. It is high time that different societies start to realize the dire need of respecting each other's religious beliefs and practices. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto categorically urged that these issues must be highlighted under the UN and there is a dire need to achieve harmony among diverse cultures and societies. Islamophobia is not a Muslim issue only. It will also affect the Western societies.

Dr. Zafar Iqbal (IR Expert): There is a great need to explain to the West that what Islamophobia is. The term Islamophobia is being discussed in the media, but its reasons are not being explained accordingly. For that, we have to study Islam thoroughly and historically. It is high time that the Muslim Ummah unites to present a real and peaceful face of Islam to the world. We should highlight the extremist elements among Muslims and talk about Islamophobia in a categorical way. The Muslim Ummah must raise awareness about Islamophobia. The blasphemous content should be condemned by everyone in the world.
