In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two Kashmiri youth in Shopian district.
The troops martyred the youth during a siege and search operation in Wangam area of the district.
The operation was launched by a joint team of Indian Army, paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force and police. An Indian soldier was also killed and two others were injured in an attack in the same area.
In their statements in Srinagar, APHC leaders Molvi Bashir Ahmad, Devinder Singh Behl, Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League and Haq-e-Khud Iradiyat Forum denounced the killing of innocent youth.
They expressed concern over the fresh arrest spree in the territory and appealed to the international human rights organizations to take notice of the Indian state terrorism.
Hurriyat leaders and organizations also paid glowing tributes to prominent martyred Kashmiri lawyer and a leading human rights activist, Jalil Ahmad Andrabi on his 25th martyrdom anniversary.
Andrabi was arrested in broad daylight by men in uniform in March 1996 and then was tortured to death in custody.
A Special Police Officer shot dead his colleague with his AK-47 rifle in Udhampur district of Jammu.
