Pakistan and Uzbekistan have reaffirmed commitment to accelerate tech-driven economic growth in the region.

The commitment has been expressed at a meeting between Minister for IT & Telecommunication Shaza Fatima and Uzbek Ambassador to Pakistan Alisher Tukhtaev in Islamabad today.

The Federal Minister highlighted Pakistan's strong cybersecurity capabilities.

On his part, the Uzbek Ambassador stressed the need for ministerial exchanges, an agreement on New Emerging Technologies, and a Joint Working Group on IT & Telecom.
