Sindh Assembly has passed the Journalist Protection Bill.

The session of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh was held. Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani presided over the session.

The Journalist Protection Bill was presented by the Provincial Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.

According to the bill, media workers and journalists will be given full protection to perform their professional duty and action will be taken against those who obstruct them.

A commission will be constituted for the protection of the journalist.
