Hajj Group Organizers are being monitored to ensure facilities for private Hajj Scheme pilgrims as per agreement signed between organizers and Hujjaj.
This was stated by Director Monitoring Khial Zad Gul, in an interview with Radio Pakistan's Special Correspondent Muhammad Akram Khan, in Makkah on Monday.
The Director said they impose penalty if a violation is observed on part of HGOs.
He said that they have a complete monitoring system to ensure implementation of the Service Provider Agreement.
However, action is taken on any complaint of a pilgrim.
He said total number of HGOs, which have been given Hajj quota this year, is 894. He said the Monitoring Cell of the Ministry of Religious Affairs has so far monitored over three hundred private companies.
He expressed the hope that monitoring of over 50 percent Hajj companies will be completed before the pilgrimage, while rest go through the same process after the Hajj.
Khial Zad Gul said notices have been issued to 180 companies, while 92 HGOs were fined upon violation of SPA.
Besides, we ensure that HGOs are abiding by the agreement, they have signed with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
