The United States has announced sanctions against an Israeli NGO and a security coordinator for extremist settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.                                                                

In a press statement, State Department spokesman Mathew Miller said extremist settler violence in the West Bank causes intense human suffering and undermines the prospect for peace and stability in the region.
