In India illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has announced plans to regroup and rethink strategies aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute through talks.
Mirwaiz made these remarks during an event in Srinagar.
He emphasized the need to distinguish between civic issues, such as infrastructure, and the larger political issue of the Kashmir dispute, which necessitates an urgent solution.
During his address, Mirwaiz expressed the Hurriyat Conference's renewed commitment to advancing dialogue as the only viable path to resolve complex issues like Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Indian Army has intensified its crackdown operations in the Rajouri and Poonch districts.
