In India, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh state, Bhupesh Baghel has reiterated his opposition to National Register of Citizens.

Addressing a gathering in Raipur city, Baghel he said NRC is being talked about everywhere but its nationwide rollout will hit Adivasis hard.

Baghel said he will oppose pan-India NRC rollout even as the central government maintains that there has been no discussion on the matter.
