The United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem today in an effort to defuse Israeli-Palestinian tensions after eruption of violence.

According to a statement of  the U.S. State Department, The US Secretary of State will also meet Palestinian President  Mahmud Abbas on Tuesday.
