Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today (Friday).

The Prime Minister directed for improving standard of Panahgahs and the quality of facilities being provided to people there.

Dr Sania Nishtar briefed the Prime Minister on the projects to be launched under Ehsaas Program in the next six months.

Meanwhile, Punjab Irrigation Minister Mohsin Khan Leghari called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today (Friday).

A detailed discussion was held on projects being completed under the Punjab Irrigation Department.

These projects include construction of Jalalpur Canal on River Jehlum, utilizing water resources flowing in Sulaiman Mountain range in Dera Ghazi Khan, construction of Dadhocha Dam to address water issue of Rawalpindi, construction of Chobara branch of Greater Thal Canal, and measures to prevent road accidents on Indus Highway.
