The APHC has deplored that Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government is using colonial-era tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for securing their right to self-determination. 

In his message sent from New Deli’s infamous Tihar jail, incarcerated senior leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan said, Indian agencies are committing grave human rights violations including threats against Kashmiri rights’ defenders, political workers, journalists and civil society activists and conducting raids to create a climate of fear in the territory.

He urged the world community to take effective notice of the worsening situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and hold the Modi-led Indian government accountable for the crimes being committed in the occupied territory.
