The 24th death anniversary of Ghazi Millat and founding President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, was observed on Friday.
Today was a public holiday across the state.
Quran recitation and Fateha were offered at his mausoleum in Kot Mate Khan, Rawalakot.
In this regard, a ceremony was held in Muzaffarabad.
The speakers said that under the courageous, thoughtful, and inspiring leadership of Ghazi Millat, the Resolution of Accession to Pakistan was passed in Srinagar on July 19, 1947.
Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan passed away on this day in 2003.
