In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the occupying authorities continue the seizure of Kashmiris' properties with the broader agenda of economically marginalizing them and changing the demography of the territory.
In a latest development, properties of 16 more Kashmiris have been seized in Ramban and Reasi districts of the territory.
The Indian authorities have so far confiscated more than 100 properties of Kashmiri people this year.
Meanwhile, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly at its session in Muzaffarabad has unanimously passed a resolution condemning India's illegal action on August 5, 2019 in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The resolution termed the revocation of the territory's special status a violation of international commitments.
Reaffirming support for the right to self-determination of Kashmiris, the House appealed to the international community to support the implementation of UN resolutions on Kashmir and ensure a peaceful resolution of the dispute.
On the other hand, at a peaceful protest in Islamabad, All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Kashmir chapter has sought urgent international intervention to halt human rights abuses by India in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The protesters carried banners and placards condemning India's continued atrocities in the territory.
They urged the international community to take immediate notice of the worsening situation in the territory and hold India accountable for its repressive policies.
