In Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has won presidential election after defeating incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro in a close context.

According to the country’s election authority, Lula Inácio Lula da Silva secured 50.8 percent of the vote compared to 49.2 percent for Jair Bolsonaro.
