Bullet riddled bodies of senior politician and Sindh Minister for Planning and Development Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and his wife have been recovered from their residence in Karachi.

Police have started investigation into the matter.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Sindh Minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and his wife.

In a message issued form Lahore on Thursday, he said that Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani was a seasoned politician.
