In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, unrelenting military siege imposed since 5th August, 2019, continues to inflict casualties to Kashmiris and hardship to their daily life.

According to a report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, the violations of international law by the BJP-led Indian government has led to the martyrdom of eight hundred and fifty nine Kashmiris, including seventeen women, during this period.

Most of these killings occurred in fake encounters under the guise of so-called cordon and search operations.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has paid rich tributes to Kashmiri martyrs and noted Kashmiri physician Dr Abdul Ahad Guru on his 31st martyrdom anniversary.

The APHC spokesman, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, while describing the Kashmir dispute as the root cause of tension in South Asia, called for its resolution through talks between Pakistan and India in light of the relevant resolutions of the United Nations.

People in occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been advised through posters to refrain from selling their properties to non-Kashmiris to safeguard the future of generations from the anti-Kashmir agendas of India's Hindutva regime.
