IIOJK: Occupation troops conduct massive operations ahead of Modi Visit
March 02, 2024

Occupation troops have launched in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, massive cordon and search operations, subjecting the residents to severe harassment ahead of Narendra Modi’s visit to the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, India’s Hindutva Modi is scheduled to visit Srinagar on Thursday.

The troops have launched house-to-house searches and raids in different areas of Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Islamabad and Kulgam districts.

Meanwhile, in a statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, said that Modi’s visit to the occupied territory is akin to rubbing salt on the Kashmiris’ wounds as the Indian prime minister was not more than a criminal for them.

He pointed out that it was on the orders of Modi that the Indian troops are subjecting the Kashmiris to the worst kind of human rights violations for demanding their right to self-determination.

Meanwhile, in total disregard to the internationally recognized disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir, the occupation authorities have allotted 20 kanals of land in Ichgam area of Budgam district to the Maharashtra government.

On the other hand, National Conference Jammu region president Rattan Lal said that IIOJK continues to be marred by instability and uncertain environment due to Modi’s wrong policies.
