The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that brutal Indian troops have turned Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a hell for its inhabitants for demanding their UN-recognized right to self-determination.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman in a statement in Srinagar, said that Indian troops have been carrying out violent cordon and search operations in different areas of Srinagar, Badgam, Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu and other districts on a daily basis.
He said that during these operations, the troops barge into residential houses, harass the inmates including women and children and vandalize the household goods.
However, he maintained that the worst Indian state terrorism has failed to subdue the Kashmiris’ freedom sentiment and they are determined to continue their struggle till complete success.
APHC leader, Advocate Davinder Singh Behl, in a statement issued in Jammu, urged the international community to play its role in the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities kept senior APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, under house detention and disallowed him to offer Juma prayers at Jamia Masjid, Srinagar.
On the other hand, Washington-based think tank, Pew Research Center in its latest report said that India saw the highest level of religious hostilities during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
