The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the BJP-led Indian government, in collaboration with the RSS, is secretly implementing its Hindutva agenda to colonize Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar, stated that under Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP regime is weakening Kashmir’s economy, exploiting its resources, and altering its demographic composition.
These colonial tactics, he said, aim to deprive Kashmiris of their land and transfer ownership to Indian settlers.
Highlighting the proposed Bijbehara-Pahalgam railway project, APHC emphasized that it is part of a broader strategy to dispossess Kashmiris and disrupt their livelihoods.
The spokesperson noted that the Indian Army plays a key role in advancing this plan, which is aimed at replicating the Israeli model by establishing Hindu settlements in the territory.
Meanwhile, in Istanbul, over hundred scholars from ninety-eight countries convened at Halic University reiterated that Kashmir and Palestine remain among the oldest unresolved issues on the UN’s agenda and called on the international community, led by the UN, to resolve these conflicts in line with international law.
