All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

APHC members, in a meeting in Srinagar today, said that Kashmiris of every age and gender, particularly youth, are being mercilessly targeted, tortured, summoned and humiliated by Indian forces and agencies in the occupied territory.

They said that Indian forces under the BJP regime have intensified the spree of arrests, torture and confiscation of properties since August 05, 2019, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting urged the Indian BJP government to release all political prisoners, including APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Aasiya Andrabi, Naheeda Nasreen, and others lodged in different jails of India and the occupied territory.

The APHC said the BJP regime must understand that no amount of brutalization will be able to subjugate the Kashmiris and that Indian state terrorism will further strengthen their resolve to continue their struggle for achieving their cherished goal of freedom.

The APHC urged India to shun rigidity and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per United Nations resolutions.
