Murtaza Solangi (Senior Journalist): The young Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has rightly decided to represent Pakistan at SCO summit as it was an important gathering of Foreign Ministers of regional countries. SCO is a forum mainly focused on common grounds, regional security, connectivity, economy and climate change. The foreign ministers from different countries including Russia and China were present so it was important for Pakistan to have representation at this important forum. It seems to be a productive visit regardless of the tense relations between both the neighboring countries. The Foreign Minister discussed important issues including Poverty alleviation, connectivity and others. The Foreign Minister also held sideline meetings with his counterparts of China, Russia and other friendly countries. All these sideline meetings are important as these provide opportunities to connect and exchange point of views with friendly countries.
