Indian forces have intensified cordon and search operations across Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces have increased checkpoints and stepped up house raids and surveillance in several parts of Rajouri, Udhampur and Jammu districts.
Frisking and checking of vehicles and pedestrians have become a routine part of daily life across IIOJK, particularly in Srinagar, Anantnag (Islamabad), Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, Budgam, Bandipora, Baramulla and Kupwara districts.
In Anantnag district, personnel of Counter Intelligence Kashmir, during house raids, harassed residents and seized house and bank documents as well as mobile phones.
APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said the continued killings, detentions, harassment and cordon-and-search operations have exposed the hollowness of the Indian BJP government's claims of peace and development.
