Lt Gen (Retd) Raza Muhammad Khan (Defense Analyst): The Formation Commanders’ Conference held in GHQ is of vital importance. The participants agreed to take strict actions against the violators of 9th May incidents. The Formation commanders discussed the issues related to national security and internal and external threats to the country. Every patriotic Pakistani condemned the violent acts of 9 May and urged to take strict actions against the culprits involved in organized attacks on state institutions and military installments. Attacking military installments is a serious crime across the globe and it must not be forgiven. Our courts need to understand the gravity of the situation and punishment must be given to the culprits involved in 9 May incidents according to law and constitution. The stakeholders must ensure that such violent acts cannot happen again in future. 

Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Khan (Defense Analyst): The Formation Commanders’ Conference is a routine practice and held on a regular basis. Pak Army is among the best armies in the world responsible to ensure the territorial integrity of the country. We have observed infiltration from Eastern and Western borders. From a total of 1.3 million Indian troops, 2/3 is deployed against Pakistan. Pakistani armed forces are always ready to respond to any aggression against its territorial integrity at any time. The nation stood by their armed forces. Pakistani armed forces are always busy in conducting military exercises to be prepared for countering future threats to the country.
