Russian President Vladimir Putin has conveyed Russia's precise demands for a peace deal with Ukraine.

In a telephonic conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyep Erdogan, he said Ukraine should remain neutral and should not apply to join NATO, and it would have to undergo a disarmament process to ensure it is not a threat to Russia. The government in Ukraine would have to provide protection for the Russian language and ensure de-Nazification in the country.
