Iran has announced that it will host multilateral conference on Afghanistan on 27th of this month.
During a press conference in Tehran, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said the meeting will be attended by China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, who all have land borders with Afghanistan.
He said that the six countries will focus on as to how they can help form an inclusive government in Afghanistan with the presence of all ethnic groups, and how they can help shape a future of peace and security in Afghanistan.
