Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has accorded approval for Sutlej Indus Economic Network Project worth 160 billion rupees at a meeting in Lahore on Monday.
Speaking on occasion, the Chief Minister said that the project will be completed in various phases and will open door of development for farmers, traders, industrialists and investors.
He said that seven districts including Kasur, Okara, Pakpattan, Vehari, Bahawalnagar and Lodhran will be connected by Motorways, GT Roads and Indus Highway.
He said that with this project three thousand industrial units and agriculture markets will be promoted and business activities will also be increased.
