In India, nine people were killed when their vehicle plunged into a river in Rajasthan state today [Sunday].

The accident occured after the driver lost control of the car.

According to a World Bank report, India accounts for the highest number of such incidents globally every year, with more than 4.5 lakh people being crippled and financial losses of 3.14 percent of the GDP.
