Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the "Magnificent Punjab" project to make Punjab a leading center for history, culture, and tourism.

The initiative aims to transform 170 historical sites into world-class tourist attractions, including 101 Gurdwaras and 53 churches, preserving the province rich heritage.

To oversee this development, the Punjab Tourism Authority will be formed, with all institutions related to history, heritage, and tourism operating under its umbrella.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that Punjab will be developed into a premier tourism destination, attracting visitors from across the globe.
