Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi says Benazir Income Support Program is playing a vital role in alleviating poverty and promoting social welfare in the country.

Talking to Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program Rubina Khalid in Peshawar on Friday, he stressed the need for enhancing scope of the program to benefit more deserving individuals of the society.

The Governor called for ensuring transparency and establishment of model offices of BISP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the meeting, the Chairperson of BISP briefed the Governor on various ongoing initiatives.
