Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan held separate meetings with Turkish Ambassador Irfan Neziroglu and Head of Lahore Office of British High Commission, Ben Warrington in Lahore on Friday.

Highlighting the historic bond between Pakistan and Turkiye, the Governor said both countries have always stood by each other in difficult times.

He also expressed Pakistan's interest in benefiting from Turkish expertise in agricultural technology and expanding cooperation in defense and trade.

The Turkish Ambassador reiterated Turkiye's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

In his meeting with Ben Warrington, the Governor discussed education, health, and trade relations.

Ben Warrington acknowledged the contributions of Overseas Pakistanis in the UK and praised Pakistan’s textiles, sports products, and surgical instruments for their high quality.
