Indian authorities have imposed heavy restrictions in occupied Jammu and Kashmir in the name of enhancing security ahead of its Republic Day on 26th of this month.

Additional troops have been deployed in Srinagar and surrounding localities to intensify checking, frisking, surveillance and patrolling on all main roads and highways.

More checkpoints have been set up, CCTV cameras installed, makeshift bunkers set up and bulletproof armed vehicles deployed everywhere making life for Kashmiris miserable.
