The two-nation theory is the founding principle of Pakistan Movement
March 22, 2021

Dr. Rasool Bakhsh Raees (Expert on Pakistan History): : The Muslims in the sub-continent realized the fact that they do not have a Muslim representation in Hindu majority in India. The Muslims have their own identity and this idea led to the separate home land for Muslims. It was vision of the Muslim league to ensure separate identity and representation of Muslims in Indian subcontinent. The Congress did not like the idea of separate homeland for Muslims. The resolution passed on 23rd march was the true voice of Muslims of India. Leaders like Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and Allama Iqbal emphasized on the significance of education to achieve a separate homeland and equip them with the modern knowledge and political wisdom. It was a just demand of the Muslims to get independence in Hindu majority India.  The Congress was not ready to share the power of leadership with Muslim minority. Pakistan is a geographical reality of the sub-continent.

Dr. Muhammad Ali (Vice Chancellor QAU):Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a visionary leader and got a separate state for the Muslims in just seven years. He followed the two- nation theory and remained successful in achieving the target in a short span of time. We achieved independence without war and created Pakistan with wisdom, knowledge and struggle with the contribution of highly educated leadership. We are a proud nation and we have to focus on our education. The only way to move forward and fulfill the dreams of our forefather is to improve our educational system. The youth of Pakistan is very promising and intelligent. They need to be more focused on education and ethics to become a responsible citizen of the country. We are very progressive and compassionate human beings.

Dr. Abdullah Gul (IR Expert): The UN has failed to pressurize India to resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions. The world powers have observed a criminal silence over the Kashmir issue for economic and strategic interest. Pakistan is challenging the new world order. The world powers are using India as a proxy against Pakistan and China. Pakistan is showing a responsible attitude towards Indian stubbornness and hostility. The world must realize that any confrontation between two nuclear states can bring catastrophic consequences. Pakistan has always highlighted the Kashmir issue at every international forum. The peace in the region is directly linked with the peaceful solution of the Kashmir dispute. It is a diplomatic victory for Pakistan that the international community has started taking notice of Indian brutalities in IIOJK.
