Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defense Analyst): Fortunately, all the regional stakeholders are taking serious steps to maintain peace in Afghanistan. Afghan people must decide their political fate themselves. Peace spoilers would not be able to sabotage Afghan peace process this time. The political leadership in Pakistan must ensure that our peace efforts are acknowledged and appreciated at internal front. Pakistan has played a significant role to sustain durable peace in Afghanistan.

Dr. Khurram Iqbal (IR Expert): The regional countries are making collective efforts to maintain peace in Afghanistan. It is high time for Kabul government to make wise decisions and take a lead to pursue Afghan reconciliation process. Pakistan has rendered matchless sacrifices for regional peace. Political instability and unrest in Afghanistan can cause instability in Pakistan. The regional players have realized that a stable Afghanistan is imperative for regional peace. The Istanbul peace process is an opportunity to end Afghan crisis.  

Dr. Mirza Ikhtiyar Baig (Economist): Pakistan is lucky to be blessed with 60 percent of youth bulge. Prime Minister Imran Khan has always emphasized the need to harness potential of youth in a useful manner to achieve development goals. It is high time to link job market with educational institutions. We need to empower youth with marketable skills and encourage them to start their own businesses. Empowering youth is crucial to compete in the world.

Dr. Abid Qayyum Sulehri (Economist): The blue economy has great potential to uplift the economy of Pakistan. The incumbent government has taken great initiatives to promote the sea based economy. We can develop the fishing industry in line with international best standards. We can improve exports and attract international investors by protecting the fishing industry.
