As party of Kashmir issue, Pakistan’s protest matters against G20 meeting in Srinagar: Analyst
April 22, 2023

Dr Muhammad Khan (IR expert): By holding G20 meeting in IIOJK, India is trying to project normalcy in the valley before the world community and this is not the true fact. Indian government is also trying to justify that the act of August 2019 was right and people of the valley have acknowledged that decision. In this scenario, Pakistan’s protest matters because we are the party of Kashmir issue.

Waheed Ahmed (Former Ambassador): This is the fact that Sudanese are very gentle people but this is very unfortunate that Sudanese war factions are fighting with each other. As for as the security of the diplomatic staff of Pakistan in war torn country is concerned, I am sure that they would be safe in Sudan because there are more affections of Sudanese people for Pakistanis. There are not much more Pakistanis in Sudan except those who are the part of international agencies like UNO and its official agencies. Those agencies would definitely ensure the safety of their staff.
