Dr Muhammad Khan (Defense Analyst): Amritpal Singh, his wife and other relatives had faced brutal torcher by Indian authorities during their detention. The situation regarding Khalistan Movement has now been entered in decisive phase. Basically this entire development is a type of recall of 1980’s Sikh Movement for Khalistan when Golden Temple, the holiest site of Sikhism, in Amritsar  was attacked by Indian forces.  The Sikhs have not forgotten the atrocities done by Indian government against them in the past. There has been voting among Sikh community across the globe especially in Europe and North America for the establishment of Khalistan. Now Sikhs are looking forward to get independence from India and they want to maintain their own identity by having their own separate home land.
