APHC strongly denounces continued illegal detentions of Hurriyat leaders
February 24, 2024

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly denounced the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and activists on baseless and fictitious charges.

APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the illegal detention as the worst kind of political vengeance on the part of Hindutva-driven Indian dispensation led by fascist Modi.

He said that the Kashmiri prisoners are being subjected to brutal treatment and denied even basic facilities including medical care, resulting in steep decline of their health.

The APHC spokesperson said all these measures, are being taken under a well-planned conspiracy to break the resolve of the Hurriyat leadership and Kashmiris and muzzle their struggle for the right to self-determination.

He said, it is the responsibility of the United Nations and international human rights organizations to take cognizance of their miserable plight.
