Members of the civil society in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have urged the India to take proactive measures for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

In a joint statement in Srinagar, Dr. Zubair Ahmed, Muhammad Furhan, Muhammad Iqbal Shaheen and Syed Haider Hussain stressed the need for restoring Articles 370 and 35-A in their original form.

They emphasized the urgency of ending atrocities and finding an immediate resolution of the Kashmir conflict in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
